1. How to use a flowmeter to adjust flow rate

1. A simple flowmeter cannot adjust flow rate because it does not have an actuator.

2. How is the cable of the flowmeter connected? The wiring method of the flowmeter may vary depending on the type and brand. Here are two common wiring methods for flow meters for your reference.

1. Wiring method for split type flow meters: As shown in the above figure, the sensor and accumulator of the split type flow meter are installed separately and connected through signal cables. When wiring, it is necessary to connect the output signal of the sensor to the input terminal of the integrator. Generally speaking, the wiring method of a split type flowmeter is relatively simple. Simply connect the corresponding signal line to the integrator.

2. Wiring method of an integral flowmeter: As shown in the diagram, the integral flowmeter integrates the sensor and integrator together without the need for signal cables.

The wiring method of the integral flowmeter is relatively simple, just connect the corresponding signal line to the accumulator. 3. How to calibrate a flowmeter? In practical use, if the temperature, pressure, and properties of the medium are different from the calibration time, or if the flow meter wears out significantly after long-term use, or if a non-standard flow meter is manufactured by oneself, it is necessary to calibrate the flow meter and re determine its flow coefficient or calibration curve. The calibration methods for flow meters include volume method, weighing method, standard flowmeter method, etc. Each flowmeter undergoes strict calibration and testing before leaving the factory. However, due to changes in the environment and differences in installation conditions during use, especially in the potato mold conditions where the measured medium is significantly different from the original calibration medium, the flowmeter may have corresponding indication errors during the measurement process.
