1. Working principle and structure of gas turbine flowmeter
Gas turbine flowmeter is an instrument used to measure gas flow. Its working principle and structure are as follows: When the measured gas flows through the sensor of the gas turbine flowmeter, the impeller inside the sensor will start to rotate with the help of the kinetic energy of the gas. When the impeller rotates, it periodically changes the magnetic resistance value in the magneto electric induction system. The change in magnetic resistance value causes the magnetic flux passing through the coil to periodically change. According to the principle of electromagnetic induction, the changing magnetic flux will generate electrical pulse signals in the coil. These electrical pulse signals are then amplified by an amplifier, and the amplified signals can be displayed locally or transmitted to the corresponding flow integrator, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), or upper computer. By counting and processing electrical pulse signals, accurate measurement of gas flow rate or total amount can be achieved.
