1. Wiring Instructions for Vortex Flow Meter

The vortex flow meter sensor adopts a three line inspection system: power supply, signal, and power ground. Use three core shielded cables. The shielded wire is connected to the housing ground at one end of the sensor. Do not connect the secondary instrument terminal to the ground. Connect the three cores to the power supply, signal, and ground of the monitoring (Ω) power supply respectively. The transmitter in Figure 10 is a two-wire system: using a two core cable, the vortex "+" and "-" terminals are respectively connected to the+24V and test instrument signal input "Sui Qiao+" terminal, and the signal "-" terminal is connected to the 24VDC "-" terminal. The output of this circuit is 4-20mA. See Figure 11

2. What are the wiring methods for flow meters? Hello, Yangpai Technology, an intelligent oil and gas metering system service provider, is pleased to answer your question. There are several wiring methods for flow meters, each with its specific application scenarios and advantages: series wiring method: connect one end of the power cord to the "+" pole on the flow meter interface, and the other end to the "+" pole on the switch or sensor. Connect one end of the power cord to the "-" pole on the flowmeter interface and the other end to the "-" pole on the switch or sensor. Three wire wiring: suitable for situations where temperature compensation is not required. Connect the positive pole (+) of the power supply to the red wire of the flow meter. Connect the negative pole (-) of the power supply to the black wire of the flow meter. Connect the signal acquisition cable, usually a white wire. Four wire wiring: Compared to three wire wiring, it has temperature

compensation function, which can improve the accuracy of flow meters. Connect the positive pole (+) of the power supply to the red wire of the flow meter. Connect the negative pole (-) of the power supply to the black wire of the flow meter. Connect the positive pole (+) of the temperature compensation cable to the blue wire of the flow meter. Connect the negative pole (-) of the temperature compensation cable to the white wire of the flow meter. The wiring method of electromagnetic flowmeter: three wire method: red wire connects voltage output signal, black wire connects current output signal, and white wire connects ground wire. Four wire method: On the basis of three wires, add a shielded wire to reduce noise and connect it to the instrument housing. Two wire method: It is relatively simple, with red and black wires connecting the current output signal and ground wire respectively. However, it should be noted that this wiring method requires the Quelv gear to measure the conductivity of the medium above a certain value, otherwise the measurement accuracy will be affected by residual noise. Connection method of pipeline: flange connection: a commonly used connection method, suitable for various flow meters, such as electromagnetic flow meters, turbine flow meters, etc. Threaded connection: It is commonly used for pipe diameters smaller than DN50 and is widely used in the medical and food industries. Clamp on connection: Simple and convenient, this connection method is commonly used in vortex flowmeters. Clamp connection: suitable for small diameter and low working pressure pipelines, easy to install and disassemble quickly. In summary, there are various wiring methods for flow meters, and the specific choice of method
